Student Dress Code

All students must have their hair back at all times and absolutely no jeans or baggy clothing is allowed.

This is to allow the instructor to see proper form and body placement.

Acro (Acrobatic Dance)

Fitted clothing must be worn. No baggy T-shirts, shorts, pants, etc. will be allowed as it is a safety risk in class. (ex. shorts and tank top.) Bare feet only.

Ballet

Body suit (no specific colour), ballet tights, and proper ballet shoes must be worn at all times. Hair must be in a bun with a hair net. Circle skirt is optional.

Musical Theatre & Production

Stretchy, tight fitting top and bottoms (ex. shorts and tank top). Bare feet for the beginning of the season. Once the performance piece is established, other footwear may be required.

Tap

Tight fitting clothing, ask teacher about shoe preference.

Kinder Dance

Any dance bodysuit/skirt combination (colour optional) and ballet tights (tights optional). Pink ballet shoes or exercise slippers.

Hip Hop

Comfortable/stretchy clothing (ex. sweatpants, tank top, hoodie etc.). Clean, indoor only runners..

Jazz

Stretchy, tight fitting top and bottoms (ex. shorts and tank top). Bare feet (Split sole jazz shoes may be required later on).

Lyrical & Contemporary

Tight fitting top and bottoms (ex. shorts and tank top) and bare feet.
